Louise Evans completes Brighton half marathon

Louise Evans reports; "All was going well up until about 8 weeks ago when unfortunately I sustained an injury, I have been having physio and deep tissue massages to help me along the way but have only been able to get out and do short runs. Jess Barnes raises £726.25 from fundraising evening

Jess Barnes says: "I organised a raffle at a fundraising evening which happened to coincide with my birthday on 27th September at the Iron Duke in Hove. "I have been in and out of hospital over the last few years so organised gaining most of the prizes from my hospital bed. "I raised £726.25 from donations and via the raffle where I had an enormous amount of generous donations.

Hilary Lee's Sober October for Hurstwood Park!

Hilary says: "My fundraising starts tomorrow as I embark on a 'Sober October' to raise money for Hurstwood Park in memory of my daughter Anna Lee. Anna (pictured) was treated at the Centre from 28thNovember 2012 when she suffered a bleed from an arteriovenous malformation in her brain, until 3rd December when she died, aged 18. "This was an indescribably awful time for our family, but we very much appreciated the care and support offered to us by the amazing staff at the hospital.
