Forestry student treated at Hurstwood Park raises funds through music

Jane Acton writes:

“Our son Tom Coleman, a Forestry student, fell out of an oak in Dec 2014 and smithereened his lumbar spine. His mobility was saved by brilliant surgery and care at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.

As part of Tom’s rehabilitation programme, he spent many hours playing music with his dad, Nick. “Gospel Faces” is the upshot, thanks to the generous musicianship of Simon Edwards, who produced the track at his home studio (and played bass and mandolin; vox by Ginny Clee).

To mark six months since the accident, we are making the song available to download in return for a donation to Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.”
